Rockville High School proudly invites family members and relatives of RHS students who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces to join us as honored guests for our 2026 Veterans Day Ceremony and Brunch on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. This is a special opportunity for our school community to recognize and thank the veterans in our families for their service and sacrifice. 8:42 AM – Veterans Day Ceremony Begins
We encourage our veteran guests to attend in their military uniform or casual attire. Most importantly, we hope you will join us for a meaningful morning of gratitude, reflection, and community as we recognize those who have served our country.

To help us properly prepare for the ceremony and brunch, please complete the Google Form linked below to register any veterans in your family who plan to attend.

It is Homecoming Season! The RHS Homecoming Dance will take place on November 7th! Join us for a "Starry Night"!
National Honor Society will be hosting a Trivia Night to raise funds for The Children's Hospital. This is an annual event that sells out quickly. Be sure to create your team and get your tickets before they are gone.
Fall Open House at Connecticut State Community College Manchester. Attend the Open House to learn more about the campus, faculty and courses offered.
Thinking about a future in Agricultural Mechanics, Aquaculture, Plant or Animal Science. Stop in and visit with our staff and students on November 11th at Rockville High School's (RHS) Academy for Agriculture Science and Technology Education (ASTE).

Chicken wings with mac and cheese are back on the Rockville High School lunch menu this year! The highlight of the day was the beautiful crisp green cucumbers that were grown in the ASTE greenhouse and harvested by Chef Tom before lunch! Lunch costs $4.00 for students and includes fresh fruits and veggies every day. Breakfast is free for all students this school year. If you think you qualify for free or reduced-price meals, please visit our website and complete the form.

Did you know? RHS Project Graduation does more than host a safe, substance-free graduation night celebration. As part of its ongoing prevention efforts, students in grades 11 and 12 will attend a special presentation from Jared Buchanan focused on resilience, mental health, substance use prevention and making informed decisions during this important season of life. We are grateful for the continued support of Project Graduation in helping our students stay connected, informed, and supported.

1. Please review the available slots on the page and click on the date you wish to have the senior's yard flocked.
2. In the address section please place the senior's address for delivery.
3. Flamingos will stay with the senior for 24 hours and then fly to another house.
4. Please leave the flock and the sign where the committee has placed them for easy pick up the next day.
5. Spots fill up quickly, so don't delay!
6. If you have dogs, we ask that you keep them inside while the volunteers are flocking.

Veterans Day Recognition: Coffee and conversation was followed by a school-wide assembly recognizing our local veterans.
This May, Art Wheelock will be inducted into the CT High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame. There will be a banquet at the Aqua Turf on May 7th. Visit the Hall Of Fame website to learn more. https://www.chsca.org/
