providing the tools to develop effective communication that leads to language proficiency.
equipping students with cultural lenses to promote appreciation and understanding.
encouraging self-discovery and empowerment to expand their communities and grow as lifelong language learners.
Portraits of a Language Department
Rockville High School offers two languages for students to study, French and Spanish. We offer levels 1-4 with seniors able to register for a French or Spanish 5 UConn ECE course. Students earn 6 college credits for taking ECE French or Spanish. Students who are planning to attend a four year college or university should plan on taking three consecutive years of World Language at RHS!
