Portraits of a Language Department

Rockville High School offers two languages for students to study, French and Spanish. We offer levels 1-4 with seniors able to register for a French or Spanish 5 UConn ECE course. Students earn 6 college credits for taking ECE French or Spanish. Students who are planning to attend a four year college or university should plan on taking three consecutive years of World Language at RHS!

A group of students wearing colorful masks and costumes poses together in a classroom, with some holding props and displaying playful expressions.

Mrs. Taweh and her class made masks for Mardi Gras!

Three students are rehearsing a scene on stage, with one sitting on the edge of the stage and two standing, all holding scripts.

Students in Profe Schlett’s class act out a play they wrote based on a book they read in Spanish 4!
