PSATs:

• Held each October during the school day at RHS.

  • The 23-24 RHS test date is: Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

• All students in grades 9, 10, and 11 test.

• No registration or fee is required to test.

SATs:

• The SATs are typically offered on a Saturday morning throughout the school year.

• RHS is a host site for the October, November, and June Saturday SAT tests.

• The state of Connecticut requires that all juniors sit for the SAT test, so a state sponsored School-Day SAT test takes place each spring.

  • No registration or fee is required for the CT School Day SAT test.

  • The exact date will be shared by RHS staff as this becomes finalized.

ACTs:

• The ACT test is an alternative test that a student can take as part of their college admissions process.

• Students can submit an ACT score instead of an SAT (or submit both) score as part of the college admission application.
