ROCKVILLE – Students and staff at Rockville High School may have noticed a big change this year: the school store, known as “The Rock,” has moved to a more central and visible location just outside the cafeteria, near the entrance to the lunch line.
While the previous location offered a great space, it didn’t attract the foot traffic needed to showcase all the store has to offer. The new spot makes it easier than ever for students and staff to browse and buy RHS merchandise.
In addition to the new location, the store has expanded its inventory and introduced monthly promotions. September’s “Back-to-School Bundle” is currently available, featuring two special deals: an “OUR HOUSE” T-shirt and drawstring bag for $20, or a new blue-and-yellow tie-dye T-shirt with a drawstring bag for $30.
Other new items include:
Tie-Dye T-Shirts ($18.00): These colorful shirts come in sizes Small through XXXL, featuring the RAM logo on the front and “RAMS ROCK” on the back.
Rockville Drawstring Bags ($15.00): A practical and stylish way to show school spirit.
The store is operated by students from all grade levels who are either part of Mrs. Oaks’ School Store Club or enrolled in the Marketing & Entrepreneurship pathway. It’s open daily before school from 7:00 a.m. to 7:25 a.m. in Room 133 and during all lunch waves on A Days. In addition, The Rock will also have a presence at home football games throughout the season.
Students interested in getting involved with the school store can visit Mrs. Oaks in Room 133 or reach out via email at gina.oaks@vernonschools.org. For updates on sales and merchandise, follow @RHS.ShoptheRock on Instagram.
