🎉 Northeast School Store Is Open for Business!
Our young 5th Grade entrepreneurs have officially opened the Northeast School Store! From 25¢ treasures to $3.00 favorites, there’s something for everyone. The store will be open most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30–8:45 AM before school!
As they raise money for their end-of-year Boston trip, our 5th graders are also learning real-world skills like marketing, communication, money management, supply & demand, and profit. We are proud of our future business leaders! 💰 📊 🛍️

On Monday night, fifth graders Auden Tierney and Lucy Verdejo Velasco were joined by their families and teachers Taylor Martone and Stephanie Schipper as they were awarded the Superintendent’s Awards by CAPSS. Auden and Lucy exemplify the traits of this reward through their leadership, service to others, community involvement, and academic prowess. Along with their awards, student nominations were shared highlighting many of their contributions to their communities. Below are excerpts from each nomination. “Auden’s empathy, self-awareness, and thoughtful perspective inspire those around him, reflecting the very best of Lake Street School’s values.” “Lucy’s enthusiasm, helpful spirit, and deep empathy for others make her a positive role model and a true leader within our school community.” We are so proud of both of these young leaders!

🏅Watch out Team USA! Northeast PE has officially transformed into an Olympic-like Gymnastics Training Facility! For the next few weeks, students will be tumbling, balancing, and climbing their way through the Wedge Mat, Spring Board, Balance Beam, Obstacle Course & Cargo Net! Coach Maxwell will keep raising the bar as our future gymnasts master each new skill! 🤸♂️✨

🚌✨ Our Northeast 5th graders stepped back in time on their field trip to Sturbridge Village! They experienced life from years gone by. They tried carding wool, churning butter, and even sitting in an old-fashioned schoolhouse desk. Students couldn’t help but notice how different life was then compared to today. They learned so much by experiencing history hands-on! 🕰️📚 #NortheastPride 🦁
