Our VCMS Kitchen Staff Team, led by Chef Tom, whipped up scratch-made Chicken Fajitas and they were a hit! We’re excited to share that this flavorful favorite will be back on the menu in January. Big thanks to our amazing kitchen team for bringing fresh, made-from-scratch meals to our students.

On Thursday, the Vernon Center Middle School Cafeteria Team and Chef Tom served up a student favorite: General Tso’s Chicken with a side of fried rice! The rice was made from scratch with fresh, local ingredients like bok choy from Cloverleigh Farm, cabbage, edamame, onions, and cilantro - plus garlic-ginger steamed broccoli on the side.
