Rockville High’s Bee Club made a buzz at Ag Day at the Capitol! 🐝
FFA club members met with legislators to share how they started & maintain their own beehives, along with producing & selling out of their honey! 🍯 This incredible club was created by students, who secured donated beekeeping equipment, & is advised by Molly Allard, the Agricultural Mechanics teacher in the ASTE program.
From hive to honey jar, these students are shaping the future of agriculture! 💛 #BeeClub #AgDayAtTheCapitol #LocalHoney #StudentLed #CTGrown #FarmToSchool

Happy National School Breakfast Week!
We’re celebrating with a delicious, nutritious breakfast featuring scrambled eggs and roasted breakfast potatoes made with locally grown potatoes from Cold Spring Farm! 🌱
A great breakfast fuels a day of learning, and we’re proud to serve up fresh, wholesome meals that support our students and local farmers.

Our Farm to School program served up samples of Three Sisters Soup featuring locally grown butternut squash! This hearty dish honors the Indigenous "Three Sisters Planting Method" of growing corn, beans, and squash together—a practice that nourishes both the land and our students. Did your student try it? Let us know! ⬇️
