Breakfast & Lunch
Thank you for participating in the Food & Nutrition program at Vernon Public Schools!
Breakfast & lunch are part of the regularly scheduled school day. Students can pick up a breakfast in the cafeteria when they arrive in the morning. Even if the student arrives late, breakfast is still available! In the case of a late arrival, student or parent/guardian should specify with the main office that a breakfast is needed.

Paying for Meals & Snacks
Meals and snacks can be paid for with cash or check at the cafeteria register or online through MySchoolBucks. To view all student meal transactions and check student balances, please create a free account with MySchoolBucks at www.myschoolbucks.com.
Every Vernon Public School student has a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that they can use in the lunch line. The PIN is the same as the student LASID number. If your student does not know their PIN, please contact your school's main office and ask for the LASID number.
Money can be added to your student's free MySchoolBucks account by paying in cash, by check, or conveniently through MySchoolBucks with a credit card. Please note there is a convenience fee associated with each credit card transaction.
Paying by check
Checks can be made out to Vernon Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services. Please put the child's name in the memo line. The check can be 1) dropped off at the main office, 2) given to the cashier during lunch, or 3) mailed to Central Office (30 Park Street, Vernon CT 06066). Money will be deposited into the student's meal account immediately upon receiving the check. The check will be cashed within one week.
Paying with cash
Cash can be brought to school and given to the cashier during breakfast or lunch. The money will be immediately deposited into the student's lunch account. No cash will be accepted at the Central Office.
Paying with credit card
To add money to your student's account with a credit card, please visit My School Bucks. Please note there is a convenience fee associated with each credit card transaction.

Snacks at School
Did you know? All Vernon Public Schools sell snacks during lunch for an additional price. Snacks can be purchased with cash or on account through MySchoolBucks. All snacks meet the Connecticut Nutrition Standards for healthier snack options. For a list of snacks and pricing, please click here.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
