2026-2027 School Year
The Vernon Preschool is currently accepting applications for children and families interested in Vernon Preschool for the 2026-2027 school year.
Preschool is available in HALF-DAY (AM and PM) and FULL-DAY sessions, dependent on child's age. Children must be 3 or 4 by 9/1/2026 to be considered. There will be a lottery and your complete application must be received at Central Office by 5/8/2026. Families will be notified by Late-May.

The Bureau of Special Education is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Office of Early Childhood and Sparkler that will help all Connecticut children get off to a strong start. Sparkler is an app that is free for families and can be used as a developmental screening tool, a source for activities to support child development, and assists parents with making connections with professionals.
