📣Calling All Northeast Historians!
Did you ever take the legendary 5th grade trip to High Meadow Resort? If so, what year? Drop it in the comments and let’s take a walk down memory lane!
This all-inclusive resort adventure has been a beloved Northeast tradition for decades, even before Dr. Greene’s time as principal! 😮 From pool time and sports tournaments to cooperative games, a DJ dance party and an all-you-can-eat buffet. It’s the ultimate way for our 5th graders to celebrate the end of the year.
Dr. Greene says "It’s more than just a field trip, it’s a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and the incredible journey our students have taken together". #NortheastPride 🦁💙

Field Day Fun at Northeast School! ☀️
It was a hot and sweaty day full of laughter, movement, and memories! Parachute games, jumprope, Gaga ball, relay races, water fun, and so much more! Our students gave it their all. 🍧 We cooled off with popsicles and ended the day with a heartwarming slideshow of memories from the year. One student said it best: “This was the best day of my life!” 💙
Thank you to everyone who helped make Field Day unforgettable! #NortheastPride 🦁

Let the games begin! Field Day 2025

🌱 Our Kindergarten authors are also gardeners! After writing their very own “How to Plant a Seed” books, our young learners put their knowledge into action by planting real bean seeds. Northeast School Students connect literacy with hands-on science.
We can’t wait to watch these little sprouts (and their plants!) bloom. 🪴

I mustache you a question… have you ever seen so many stylish staches in one place?! Mustache Day at Northeast School was a hair-raising success! Curly, Pencil-thin and handlebar classics, students tried on all kinds of mustache styles. The halls felt like the Wild Wild West today, with mustached buckaroos roaming around as we gallop toward the end of the school year. Giddy up! 🤠

Beach Day at Northeast School! 🏖️☀️
What a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of finally feeling like summer! After days of chilly, rainy weather, the sun showed up just in time for our Beach Day at NES! 😎🌞With just a couple weeks left, this day was the perfect kickoff to summer excitement. Let the countdown to summer begin!

More signs of Spring at NES! 🌸 We’re eagerly waiting for the moment these caterpillars emerge as beautiful butterflies. It’s a magical reminder of growth, change, and new beginnings. Stay tuned for their big transformation! 🦋

Our 1st grade ant farm is busy with activity! Tiny tunnels crisscrossing every which way as the ants work together nonstop.
Our students are just as busy, finishing projects, preparing for end-of-year events, and getting excited for their big field trip this week! 🚌🌞One group builds tunnels, the other builds memories. 💙

🎶✨ What an amazing afternoon of music at Northeast School! ✨🎶 Our 5th grade band wowed the audience with their talent, performing incredible solos and duets — including a crowd-favorite rendition of the Bluey theme song! 🎺🥁 The 4th and 5th grade chorus filled the room with energy and heart, singing inspirational songs like “Better When I’m Dancin’” and “Kiss the Sky” from The Wild Robot movie. 🎤🌟 A huge congratulations to all our young musicians for their hard work and joyful performances — you made us proud! 🎼💙

I Mustache you a question: Are you ready for a NES Spirit week?! Starting in June!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our Multicultural Night such a memorable event! We were blown away by the delicious cultural dishes—each one a special taste of home and heritage. The entertainment was amazing, from the lively music to the heartfelt student performances. Our talented students shone brightly with their singing and dancing. Events like this remind us of the beauty in our diversity and the strength of our community. Thank you for celebrating with us! 🌎💫 ❤️

Spring has sprung! Students are taking their learning outside!

Our Farm to School program served up samples of Three Sisters Soup featuring locally grown butternut squash! This hearty dish honors the Indigenous "Three Sisters Planting Method" of growing corn, beans, and squash together—a practice that nourishes both the land and our students. Did your student try it? Let us know! ⬇️
