Our second full five-day week of school led to some pretty awesome Remarkable Roadrunners! We hope everyone had fun at open house last night and as a reminder there is no school on Monday (9/21) 🗓️

Run club is off to a great start (hint: it will be a peace of open house scavenger hunt on Thursday). Last week the group doubled (or tripled) in size - everyone in the group photo ran at least a mile throughout the week. An extra congratulations to our top 25! 🏆

A reminder to CRS:

Open house is this Thursday night, September 17, from 6:15-7:30pm. There will be a scavenger hunt around the building, the PTO ice cream social, and time to meet teachers in our school. We hope you can join us!

Week two of Remarkable Roadrunners! We are very excited for this group that includes many new students to our school from kindergarten and other grade levels. These happy students have been doing well leading their classrooms, working hard, and having fun. CRS is off to a great start this school year 🤍💚

This week Ms Steed introduced our recess run club during PE to those in grades 2-5. The students in this picture were able to get a mile or more by Friday afternoon to kick off our first week! How it works: Every student has a badge they scan when they finish laps around the "track" that she created with the help of Mr. Steve. 9 laps around is one mile! At the end of each week, students receive a foot on their lace for each mile they completed. Students can choose to do a couple laps a day, walk and talk with their friends, only run on certain days, or they can choose to keep recess the same! We can't wait to see how many miles we can all do! 👟
