Special Education

The Special Education Department

Hello from Ms. Beck, Ms. Sirois, Mrs. Kowalczyk and Mrs. Danielczuk! We are the special education team at Lake Street School. The goal of our team is to ensure that every student’s unique learning needs are met. We are always collaborating with classroom teachers and related services, such as: occupational therapy, school psychology, physical therapy, and speech language pathology, to develop and implement highly effective educational plans. In addition to meeting the diverse academic needs of our students, we also target social skills, essential life skills, and self-advocacy. The Lake Street School special education department is dedicated to fostering every child’s love for learning, and to help each child achieve his/her maximum potential! We appreciate your support at home, and look forward to working together this year toward your child’s success!
