Jevan Whitaker, Social Worker

As a speech-language pathologists (SLP) at Northeast Elementary School, I provide services to students individually and small groups. Focus of instruction, whether taking place in the regular education classroom or within a resource room setting, includes articulation, expressive and receptive language, speech fluency and voice, and pragmatic language. I consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and address goals and to provide communication strategies for students.

Kristin Tingey, School Psychologist

We work to help children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students. We believe that strengthening connections between home and school supports a strong foundation for student success. We work to find the best solution for each student and situation; we use different strategies to address student needs and to improve each child’s school experience. Creating a safe place for students to share their feelings, fears and concerns that may affect them while they are at school is important.
