Kindergarten

Kindergarten at Lake Street School provides learning experiences that help our young students develop the foundational skills needed to be successful learners and expand their love of learning throughout their educational career. Our goal is to meet the social, emotional, intellectual and physical developmental needs of the children through various literacy and math activities. Our new curriculum initiatives are aligned with the Common Core State Standards and allow students to express and communicate thoughts and ideas through speaking, listening, reading, writing, and math. Our students participate in art, music, physical education, library, and technology time each week to develop new skills.
