Summer Meals

The Summer Food Service Program ensures that children have access to nutritious meals when school is not in session. The Town of Vernon offers FREE summer meals to all kids & teens up to 18 years old no matter where they live. There is no need to sign up, prove residency, or register for meals. Just show up!

*NEW THIS YEAR* Free breakfast is offered to all kids at Vernon Center Middle School (777 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon CT) from 8:20-8:40am Monday - Thursday (June 24 - July 25). Click here for the breakfast menu!

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
